CHICAGO (July 25, 2018) – EnTrust Realty Advisors (www.entrustrealtyadvisors.com) completed the sale of 8.55 acres in the Lake Center Corporate Park near O’Hare airport in Mount Prospect, IL to a joint venture between Dayton Street Partners (www.daytonstreetllc.com) and Black Creek Group (www.blackcreekgroup.com). James I. Clark III, EnTrust’s Managing Principal, announced the transaction.

Occupying a prime site at the intersection of Algonquin (Route 62) and Elmhurst Roads (Route 83) and just minutes from O’Hare International Airport, the site is part of Lake Center Corporate Park and one of the last remaining development pads available in the infill O’Hare industrial submarket. The joint venture is building a 132,270 square foot multi-tenant speculative industrial development, known as O’Hare DC III. The building design will feature 32-foot ceiling clearances and an expandable number of loading docks.

Industrial development in the Chicago area has been rampant in recent months, due to the city’s Midwest location, access to transportation, and high population density. From an investment standpoint, the metropolitan area has seen about $3 billion in sales volume annually from 2014 to 2017, according to CoStar.
